Meet Our New CAT Scan Tech: Marcy Shelley
Meet the newest addition to our awesome team at HealthCARE Express Imaging: Marcy Shelley!
Outside of work, she enjoys singing, going to sporting events, and spending time with her family.
Marcy was led to join the medical field because of all of the time she spent with her grandmother growing up. Her grandmother worked at Little River Memorial Hospital in Ashdown, AR and Marcy spent quite a bit of time there with her. Now, Marcy is a CAT Scan Technologist, and she’s been working with CAT Scan machines since 1990.
She joined the team at HealthCARE Express on August 3, 2020. Her favorite part of her job is working with people and performing quality imaging so that an appropriate diagnosis can be made. In Imaging, you get to see something different with each patient and technology is always changing so there is always something new to learn.
Marcy went to school at Wadley School of Radiology in Texarkana, TX, and finished her Bachelor's degree at Texas A &M University in Texarkana, TX. She is also registered in Diagnostic X-Ray and in Computed Tomography.
