  • Fighting Hunger in East Texas: HealthCARE Express Canned Food Drive This October

Helping East Texas families put food on the table, one can at a time.

As the seasons shift and families prepare for the holidays, many in East Texas face the harsh reality of food insecurity. At HealthCARE Express, we believe caring for our communities goes far beyond the walls of our clinics. That’s why we’re proud to launch a month-long canned food drive this October across all our East Texas locations.

Why Canned Food Drives Matter

Dr. Spencer Reynolds of HealthCARE Express shared:

“Food insecurity doesn’t just affect a person’s diet; it impacts their overall well-being. When families are unsure about where their next meal will come from, stress levels rise, kids struggle to focus in school, and chronic health conditions can worsen. This is why we’re proud to stand alongside local food banks to help fill the gap.”

Canned goods are vital because they are nutritious, nonperishable, and easy to distribute. October is an especially important time to give, as food banks prepare for the busy holiday season when demand is often at its highest.
