  • Fighting Hunger in Central Arkansas: HealthCARE Express Canned Food Drive This October

HealthCARE Express clinics unite with local food banks to provide meals and hope.

As the holiday season nears, many families in Central Arkansas struggle with food insecurity. At HealthCARE Express, we believe caring for our community goes beyond urgent care; it means showing up where we’re needed most. That’s why we’re proud to host a month-long canned food drive throughout October at our Arkansas clinics in Sherwood, Maumelle, and Bryant.

Local Food Banks & Pantry Partners in Central Arkansas

Your donations will support some of the most trusted food banks and community organizations in the Little Rock area, including:

Why Canned Food Drives Matter

“Food insecurity doesn’t just affect access to meals; it impacts physical health, emotional well-being, and even children’s ability to succeed in school,” said Dr. Spencer Reynolds, of HealthCARE Express. “By partnering with local food banks, we can ensure that families in our neighborhoods get the nutrition and stability they need to thrive.”

Canned goods are a powerful way to help because they are nonperishable, long-lasting, and packed with nutrition. Collecting donations in October helps food banks stock their shelves in preparation for the busy holiday season, when need is often at its highest.
