Choctaw's Hometown Hero: Carol Goodwin
We would like for you to meet this week’s Hometown Hero: Carol Goodwin!
Carol is the President/CEO of the Choctaw Area Chamber of Commerce. She loves getting to serve in this role! Eastern Oklahoma County is filled with the most hard-working business professionals, and she is left in awe of the amazing small business community in town. Her favorite thing about Choctaw is living right next to her parents in a house surrounded by trees that is just minutes from anywhere in the metro area.
In her free time, Carol loves traveling and spending time with her family. She feels her biggest personal accomplishment is that she’s successfully kept a small succulent plant alive since the beginning of April this year.
FUN FACTS: Carol was born in Oklahoma and grew up in Germany. Her maiden name is Carol Noel King because she was born in December. She was born (accidentally) in a bathtub! She married her high school sweetheart, after dating since they were 16 years old.
