Blanchard Hometown Hero: Bryan Roppolo

We would like for you to meet this week’s Hometown Hero: Bryan Roppolo.

Bryan is the owner of Roppolo’s Insulation and the co-founder of the Giving Bak Foundation. He has lived in South Shreveport his whole life, and he has done so much to try to help improve the city. Bryan consistently gives back to the community through service in several organizations and disaster relief through Operation BBQ Relief and his Giving Bak Foundation. He is always willing to lend a helping hand. Besides the Giving Bak Foundation, Bryan is part of the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Board of Salvation Army, Board for ARC, and many more! The Shreveport-Bossier area has a huge heart, and Bryan loves to be a part of it. This community is small, but very loving and giving.

Bryan feels honored to run a successful business in Shreveport that has allowed him to follow his dream to start the Giving Bak Foundation. When he’s not working at either of his businesses, though, Bryan can be found cooking for his family, local non-profits, and those in need. He’s a pretty great cook too! Bryan won the 2019 World Grand Championship BBQ Contest.

In his free time, Bryan spends time with his daughter and loves hunting and fishing.

Fun Question: If you could have dinner with someone famous, dead, or alive, who would it be? Why?

My Grandfather. He loooooooved to eat, and now that I am doing so much cooking I would be honored to have one last meal with him.
