Are You Taking the Steps to Maintain Your Health?

 

Many people here in America suffer from many different chronic conditions (sometimes more than one). Many of these conditions can be prevented, but some cannot. Arthritis:  There are several different types of arthritis, but they all end up with you suffering from aching joints. Being in pain whenever you move isn’t something to look forward to, but you can take these steps to try to prevent it:

-Eat lots of fish

-Control your weight

-Exercise

-Avoid joint injuries

-See your doctor regularly

 

Cancer:  Cancer is scarily common today. Everyone knows someone who has suffered from it, and they can tell you how devastating it can be. The best way to try to keep cancer out of your life is to lead a healthy lifestyle which includes, but is not limited to:

-Do not smoke or use tobacco

-Eat a healthy diet

-Maintain a healthy weight and be physically active

-Protect yourself from the sun

-Get regular medical care

 

Obesity: One-third of American adults are considered obese. That is a shockingly large number. If you want to keep yourself from becoming part of this portion of society you can:

-Exercise regularly

-Follow a healthy eating plan

-Know and avoid the foods that may cause you to overeat

-Monitor your weight regularly

-Be consistent
