HealthCARE Express is looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. Work Schedule
This full-time position works 12-hour rotating shifts, including some Saturdays.
The Opportunity
Urgent care is fast-moving, hands-on, and rarely predictable. We are seeking a provider who is comfortable working in a busy clinical setting and enjoys the variety that comes with treating a wide range of patient needs.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine is preferred. Occupational medicine experience is a plus but is not required.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
Provide medical care to patients of all ages
Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
Conduct lab testing and simple procedures
Prescribe appropriate treatments
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records
Follow established infection control and safety protocols, particularly when handling sharps and body fluids
Help maintain a professional, customer-centered clinic environment
Provide leadership and guidance to the clinic team when needed, using a supportive and teaching-focused approach
Remain flexible and assist with responsibilities outside your typical scope when necessary
Help improve clinic flow and support the mission and values of HealthCARE Express
