Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most at this location.
No. Every HealthCARE Express clinic is walk-in — no appointment needed, ever. Come in during the hours listed on this page and we'll take care of you. If you'd rather be seen from home, we also offer virtual visits.
No. HealthCARE Express closes on Sundays so our entire team has one guaranteed day each week to rest, be with their families, and go to church. We think that's part of why they take care of you the way they do. This clinic's hours for the rest of the week are listed at the top of this page, and every clinic opens Monday at 8:00 AM. If you need care on a Sunday and it can wait until Monday, we'll be here first thing. If it's an emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room.
This clinic has a lab on site, so we can run your tests during the same visit — most results are ready in minutes, while you wait, instead of days later. On-site testing includes rapid COVID-19, flu and strep tests, urinalysis, bloodwork, and STD screening. This location does not have X-ray on site; if you need imaging, we will treat what we can and point you to the nearest HealthCARE Express clinic that has it. For CT, MRI, and ultrasound, our Texarkana imaging center schedules most scans same-day and at a fraction of hospital pricing.
Most major insurance, including Medicaid, Medicare, SoonerCare, Tricare, TriWest, and workers' compensation. HealthCARE Express bills as an urgent care center, so your co-pay is usually lower than an emergency room visit, though it may be higher than seeing your primary care doctor. If you're not sure how your plan covers urgent care, check with your insurer or call the clinic and we'll help you sort it out.
No insurance, no problem — we see self-pay patients every day. Cash-pay office visits start at $175, with additional charges for lab tests, X-rays, vaccines, medications, and procedures if the provider decides you need them. That posted price already includes a discount for paying by cash or card at the time of service.
Cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have a question about a bill you've already received, our billing department is at 903-407-4941.
Everyday illness and injury, for all ages — colds and flu, sore throats, ear and sinus infections, urinary tract infections, rashes, minor burns, sprains and strains, cuts that need stitches, and broken bones — plus school and sports physicals, vaccines, and testing. If something needs a higher level of care, we'll tell you and help you get there. For chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, or any life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
