3 Ingredient Apple Sauce
While making your own applesauce may sound like a huge undertaking, it’s a surprisingly simple task. All you need are 3 chopped and peeled apples, ¼ cup of water, 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, a crockpot, and a potato masher!
To make applesauce, you must first slice and core the apples of your choice. We recommend using sweeter apples, such as Fuji or Gala. Once cut, place the apple slices, water, and cinnamon in the crockpot set to low. Cover the mixture and let it cook for 3 hours, or until the apple slices are tender. Once cooked, take the potato masher and mash the ingredients together, and there you have it: homemade applesauce! Once cooled to room temperature, you can scoop the applesauce in small individual containers which can be stored in a refrigerator for up to a week!
